If you are in Las vegas please stop by Black Door, a new place to eat and drink and take in some music. I will be there on May 22nd to celebrate the grand opening. I’ve always wanted a spot in Las vegas that isn’t attached to a hotel so I decided to partner up with a few friends and make it happen… A dark, sexy place where we could get away from the crowds of random people that meander about in the casino. Good news is, if I ever miss the crowds, we are right across the street from The Hard Rock Hotel!

Dave, does the damage alcohol can do to individuals (and their families) give you any pause, regarding owning a bar? I’m right in thinking you don’t drink alcohol personally, aren’t I?

just to reply to ed long..alcohol only damages those who cant drink responsibly. many people can enjoy alcohol without it consuming their lives or cause damage. the owning of a bar doesnt make a person an alcoholic. p.s. it’s also a restaurant…which doesn’t encourage over eating..(=

Wow. You put the door where the cooks used to go out back when the place was TRAMPS, and you obviously are trying to take in some of the patrons of the notorious DOUBLE DOWN.. Guess what!? We don’t want your hard rock “let’s be rock n roll” for one night crowd. Take your Ed Hardy clones and disappear.

Then of course…you have the world famous Double Down right down the block too. What a great lil area this is becoming!!! Thanx Dave. Vegas loves you…and you her, I am sure. xxoo
