1. Thoughts on the new season of Curb?

I think anything Larry David does is better than most sit-com 30 minute comedy shows, but having said that… This season, at least so far, feels a little more slap stick than it used to. I am also just more used to the interaction between Cheryl and Larry and I am hoping she returns for the rest of the season. Either way, it’s pretty fucking good!

2. If/when the RHCP get inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.. are you going to be inducted as well or be a part of it somehow?

No, they have a had an amazing career going on 25 years or so. My time with them was relatively short and I only did the one record and tour. I do think that they are certainly deserving of the honor and I am extremely happy for the guys.

3. Twiggy seemed to be one of your best pals about ten years ago. Are you guys still friends?

For sure!

4. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! I know in the past you have talked about how that crime affected your family. Would you be open to doing more of that in the future?

Sure I would. Actually the documentary film that Todd and I are working on deals directly with that subject.

5. Hi Dave, If you could erase 1 human emotion from mankind, what would it be?

I dunno. Jealousy perhaps? It doesn’t really seem to have much of an upside.

6. Since you are such a movie buff, why is Godfather II considered to be a better film than Godfather I?

Well, IMO 2 has more in depth story lines about the family, the business, marital issues and inter family betrayal not to mention performances from both DeNiro and Pacino. 1 does show the development of Michael in a pretty intense way but the back story in 2 with DeNiro answers a lot of question we are left with in 1. I could actually go on and on about these films, but you get the idea. There is a single version that ties both films together in chronological order that is a fun watch, but I prefer them on their own as they are.

7. Who would you rather get stuck in an elevator with… Richard Simmons or Rush Limbaugh?

That’s like asking if I’d rather use a .38 or .45 to kill myself with. I suppose it would be more interesting to get into a debate with Rush and pass the time that way than the option. Plus, maybe Rush would have a spare Oxy or two.

8. Is there anyone in the horror community you’re hoping to meet at the scream awards?

Hmmmm. Not really. I mean, would Jennifer’s Body put Megan Fox in that community? HAHA. I know… Obvious and cliched answer but sometimes things are obvious and cliche for a reason!

9. What’s your favorite tattoo?

Right now it’s the portrait of my mother on my left ribs. Done by Kat Von D.

10. Led III…. or…….Houses…?

Two entirely different moods. If I had to choose I’d say Houses, but I’d hate to have to make that choice.
